About DOUBLE LANE SWING BARRIER
OVERVIEW: The double lane swing barrier turnstile series designed for smooth and silent operation and draws very little power. It's made of stainless steel which makes highly durable.
Thetempered-glass barriers are normally held in a locked position, thus denying access to the secured side. Upon reader (RFID and/or fingerprint) positively recognizing a user's valid access card or finger print, its barriers swing automatically, thus allowing users passage to the secured side.
During emergencies and power outages the barriers automatically swing, there by ensuring users fast unencumbered exit to safety. This function is available when power off if installing the fire control board and battery.

Premium Security and DesignManufactured with robust 304 stainless steel housing and finished with acrylic or tempered glass barriers, the system ensures durability and enhances aesthetic appeal. Dual-lane configuration offers effective management of visitor throughput while preventing unauthorized access through anti-tailgating technology and visible audible alarms.
Flexible Integration and UsageThis swing barrier supports seamless integration with access control systems via Wiegand, RS232, RS485, and optional TCP/IP connectivity. It can be operated manually or automatically using cards, fingerprint, or face recognition. Customization for color, logo, and remote control access increases versatility for various site requirements.
Reliable Performance Across EnvironmentsWith ingress protection rating of IP54 and capability to function in both indoor and outdoor settings ranging from 15C to 60C, the barrier meets rigorous standards of reliability. MTBF of over 5 million cycles and low operating noise (50dB) provide lasting, quiet performance even in busy public spaces.
FAQs of DOUBLE LANE SWING BARRIER:
Q: How does the DOUBLE LANE SWING BARRIER improve access security?
A: This barrier uses bidirectional operation, anti-tailgating sensors, and audible/visible alarms to prevent unauthorized access. It features a microprocessor-controlled automated swing arm that only allows users with proper credentials, creating a secure passage for controlled environments.
Q: What customization options are available for this swing barrier?
A: Customers can select from various housing colors and finishes, opt for access control system integration, and request company logo printing on the barrier. These options enable organizations to match the product to their branding or specific entry requirements.
Q: Where can the DOUBLE LANE SWING BARRIER be installed?
A: It is suitable for both indoor and outdoor locations, including offices, airports, metro stations, commercial buildings, and other secure-access zones. The IP54 ingress protection ensures it withstands harsh environments and weather conditions.
Q: What is the typical installation process for this barrier?
A: Installation involves floor mounting the units and configuring them according to single or double lane requirements. The system is then connected to the desired access control interfaces, such as card readers, fingerprint scanners, or facial recognition devices, followed by calibration and testing for operational readiness.
Q: When does the emergency function activate and how does it work?
A: In the event of a power failure or emergency signal, the swing arms automatically retract to allow free passage. This ensures quick evacuation or access for emergency responders, meeting essential safety protocols.
Q: How does remote control and integration with access systems work?
A: The barrier can be managed remotely through compatible access control systems via dry contact relay outputs and interfaces like RS232, RS485, Wiegand, or TCP/IP. Administrators can monitor, control, and adapt operational parameters or grant access in real time using these integrated network connections.
Q: What are the key benefits of using this swing barrier in high-traffic areas?
A: It manages heavy pedestrian flow efficiently through fast opening/closing speeds and a dual-lane system. Advanced security features, auto-reset, and robust construction ensure reliable access control, while low maintenance and long service life reduce operational costs over time.
